An inspiring read-it enabled me to trust my instincts and continue to meet my toddler's needs through breastfeeding.

I read this book when my son was approaching one. I didn't know other mothers who breastfed toddlers and I was receiving astonishment and questions from friends and family. I loved how this book helped me to see that by following my child's natural course of weaning, I was doing what was right for him. I revisited this book as he turned 2, and again as he grew. I found it especially helpful to understand how older babies and toddlers nurse - what patterns I might see and how their needs may manifest in relationship to nursing.
