How can I place an order?
Most customers place orders through our website, paying by card or PayPal. However we also welcome official purchase orders from businesses and organisations where purchasing takes place through procurement departments. We no longer accept orders by post accompanied by personal cheque because of the risk of fraud and processing delays.

Purchase orders
To avoid delays, official purchase orders should be emailed to us at [email protected] rather than posted by standard mail. Please include full business details on the order, along with email addresses and telephone numbers for both the delivery contact and the finance contact. A packing list will be included with your delivery and we will send an invoice to your finance contact. Our business name and address is LLL Books Ltd, Charlotte House,

For further information required to set us up in your purchasing system please contact us by email using our contact form. Our payment terms are 30 days. Calculating postage and packing costs for purchase orders
You can download information on shipping costs by clicking on the P&P button in our website footer.
Shipping is calculated according to the total weight of your order and your shipping location. You can use our website to calculate this. Just add the items to your basket and go to the checkout. Once you complete your details and click the Next button you will be given a shipping price before any payment details are required. Alternatively, contact us with your list of items before sending us your order and we can calculate shipping for you. Please allow a few days for us to respond.
If you are outside the UK or the website is unable to calculate shipping for your location please contact us directly for a shipping quote.

Tips for using the Cart and Checkout
As you browse you can add items to your cart by clicking on the Add to Cart button. You can change the number of items you add at this time or later on from the Cart Checkout. You can see how many items you have in your cart at all times. Click on Checkout to view the Cart and the products in it.

- remove items
- enter a discount coupon code if you have one. See below for more information about applying coupon codes.
Discount coupon/voucher codes
Apply your discount code in your Shopping Cart before going to the checkout. Enter your coupon code in the box indicated (or on a mobile device where it says 'Promo code' below the list of items) . Then be sure to click on 'apply'. You should see relevant discounts applied showing in red.
If you are using an older version of Internet Explorer the text in the coupon box may not be visible. However try typing your code in anyway followed by 'apply' and you should see your discount being applied. Only one coupon may be applied to each order.

If you are an LLLGB Leader and buying products for Leader/Group use please enter the current Leader discount coupon code at the checkout to ensure your discount is applied. Leaders are entitled to 15% off selected products, which currently include LLLGB leaflets and The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. There is no longer a discount for shipping. You should not use this code if you are buying for another role you fulfil.

When you use our PayPal checkout you can opt to pay by credit or debit card by choosing Checkout as a Guest. We accept most cards. If you are making your card purchase using a computer you will not be required to make a PayPal account. On a mobile device, if you choose this option and don't already have a PayPal account you will be asked to create one during the checkout process although you will still be able to pay using your chosen card.

Completing your order online
From the Checkout complete in full the shipping details. Click on Continue to be taken to our PayPal payment portal where you can choose to pay using your debit/credit card or PayPal account (see below).
Once complete, you will be returned to our website and a box will appear for adding extra instructions or notes. Leaders can use this box for adding requests for Leader only items.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Confirm Order button to place your order.
This may not be visible immediately if you are using a laptop. Payment will not be taken until this step is completed.
You will automatically receive an email confirmation from us.

Why didn't my payment go through?
See section above if you are returned to our website after providing your details in PayPal. This is normal. You will need to scroll down the page to find the Confirm Order button.
If you receive an error message stating your card has been declined it is worth checking whether the following apply:

- The billing name/address you have entered may not match the details your card issuer holds for you.
- Your card may have reached its daily limit.
- Your card may have been flagged as needing additional authorisation.
- Your card may be newly issued and not activated yet.
- Your card may have a block on online payments or on payments to a charity.
I want to make a change to my order
If you have just placed an order and wish to make a change we suggest you email us immediately using the contact form on our website, explaining the situation and giving full details of your order and a phone number. We always check emails before dispatching orders and will contact you before processing your order to deal with your request.
If you change your mind once the goods have been dispatched/delivered please see our Returns Policy which explains what you should do.

Our Shop Admin team members are volunteers working part time. You can expect to receive a reply to emails and Facebook messages within three working days of receipt. Orders are processed within 3-5 days of receipt where products are in stock.
Since all of our team work remotely we don't operate a landline phone number. If you need to call us please use our 0845 456 1866 number and leave a message giving full details and a contact number. We will call you back as soon as we are able.
